Chapter 2:The Morning After

She woke up in cold sweat and was almost surprised to see that she was still in her bedroom. Sighing softly, she reached over and hit the snooze button of the alarm clock beside her, slowly got out of bed and made her way to the bathroom. Once there, she looked in the mirror and found that her face still had hints of blush leftover from her dream. She reached up and traced her lips softly with her thumb.
"He was so close and real. I swear I could feel his breath on my lips…"
She shook her head and smacked herself gently. "Gosh, wake up! It was just a dream!"
More awake than before, she undressed, took a quick shower and quickly dried her hair before checking the month's theme for the café that she worked at and picking a proper outfit out of her closet filled with various costumes. Putting her hair up in a simple ponytail, she grabbed an apple and her car keys and headed out for work. She caught a glance of herself in the mirror as she was heading out and smiled to herself at how great she looked in her black and white maid outfit with a built-in apron, her fishnet stockings that made her legs look much longer than they were and her high-heeled shoes. Yup, she was definitely ready for work.
Meanwhile…
He sighed as he fell backward on his bed; tired from being out all night and tapping into the dreams of the girl who he knows for sure is his angel of light.
"Damn, I was so close to finally getting a taste of her sweetness. Why did she have to wake up right then?!? Oh well…maybe she will come out tonight to check if her dreams were as real as they seem to be." He smirked a little to himself. Rolling over on the bed, he looked at the clock beside his bed. It was only eight in the morning with the sun up and shining brightly outside. There was nothing more that he could do, so he snuggled back into his pillow and fell back to asleep in his pitch dark bedroom. His last thought was of her.
